Those that are doing Revival Ministry or the one’s providing the need of others?!
41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his demons!
42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me anything to drink.
43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me no clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
45 And he will answer, ‘I assure you, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
In the whole account of this chapter Jesus is telling the final judgment on how it is done. Upon sitting on His glorious throne, all nations will be gathered and He will separate them as shepherds, separates the sheep from the goats.
Those that are on His right were the ones blessed by the Father to inherit the Kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of this world (take note: I believe the Kingdom here is not a place like in heaven up there. It is said; “from the foundation of the world”. Besides, Jesus even said in the model prayer.. “thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is heaven.”)
Anyways, those who inherit the Kingdom are the ones who have not only seen the lack but provided the immediate solution on the simple need.
Don’t get me wrong on this, Revival Ministry might serve also the need of the people spiritually but all of us know that after quite some time or after several days the fire being felt is slowly subsiding. Then, going back again to normal routines as if being fully charged. When being in a situation again of certain tiredness and weakness…Revival is the solution! Is that how it really serves its purpose? Church don’t we have other solutions to provide the need so that revival would not be seasonal but will live in the hearts of the people and carry the fire everyday, every minute, every second and every moment of their daily lives? Revival seems to teach people to be thirsty and hungry for personal reasons, so that they will feel recharge again! Well, sorry if i sound drastically but that’s how Revival goes nowadays…So Revival means providing some sort of temporary relief. May i ask another question, would this be what the Lord wants us to do in our ministry all the time? I don’t think so…..
What we should do is I think providing the immediate solution on the need as seen by those who have entered the Kingdom of the Father. Being compelled by the love of Christ in us when He also first touched our lives, let us spread the real value of giving because this is how God originally designed us and not inculcating in every individuals the doctrines and religious rites inside the box of the church. Live it there, and go outside and minister as natural as Jesus so that you may see and provide the immediate solution to those that are thirsty, hungry, without clothes, in prison and sick. Or else, you would want also to be like those on the left side of God where He said.. “get away from me.” Look at what they have asked in verse 44.
“Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
How would they see? they were blinded by their religious beliefs and traditional ministry which in turned to be their comfort zones. I just wonder why they stick to this stuff as if there are no more other solutions other than this. Revival is good if at least after every event, the church would provide the solution on the obvious need of the people. But mind you Jesus does it the other way around, He would provide first!
Now, would you like to enter the Kingdom of God? Maybe you would know now what to do.
Remember the last verse? V. 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
Righteousness is not necessarily being active or so involved with the church ministry it is the real value of Christ in us as we manifest it naturally in the real world and not Hypocrisy!
